Prospects of rain in Tamil Nadu in the next 2 days

The Meteorological Centre has informed that there is prospects rain with lightning and thunder in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 2 days.
Yesterday (Wednesday, 6th July), it rained heavily during the night in the Chennai. This brought a considerable cooling effect which was a great relief to the city residents.
The meteorological Centre has informed that due to the recently formed thermal convection, there are prospects of rain in the next 2 days and during this (Thursday, 7th July) evening or night.
