Aadhar Card compulsory for performing Angapradakshanam in Tirupathi Temple

Some of the devotees, visiting the world famous and popular Tirupathi Temple of Lord Srinivasa, perform their prayers by doing Angapradakshanam rolling over the outer corridors of the sanctum sanctorum as committed to the Lord in a form of prayer.
Now, TTD (Tirumalai Thirupathi Devasthanam) has declared that the devotees performing this have to submit their Aadhar Cards.
The temple’s PRO explained that the devotees who perform Angapradakshanam will have to show their Aadhar cards from now. This is effective from today (20th July, Wednesday).
This measure has been taken in order to prevent the same devotees doing Angapradakshanam several times.
