Tamil Nadu Government: Change of Address for Ration Card through Internet

So far, the practice for intimation of change of address for ration cards has been to fill up a particular form and submitting the same. In the current lifestyle of ever-advancing technology and internet, where things are done in simpler, quicker, and easier ways, the Tamil Nadu government have announced the plans to introduce the ration card address change through the internet.
This announcement was made by the Finance Minister who presented the budget for 2016-17 today (21st July, Thursday).
He explained that arrangements are being made to carry out the change of address through the internet. All preparatory activities are completed.
