Merwin Alexander gets transferred to center

Post master general of Chennai zone, Merwin Alexandar is transferred to a central government job. He is now appointed as the Joint Secretary of Atomic Energy in Mumbai.
He has been the post master general in the past four years in Chennai postal department. It was during his period that the Selvamagal Semippu Thittam, Ponmagan Vaippi Nidhi Thittam and a few other notable postal schemes were introduced.
