AN-32 plane search vessel Sagar Nidhi to reach Chennai in one week

It is turning to be a never-ending mystery, where the search of AN-32 army plane that went missing on July 22 has become the top of all headlines. Moreover, the family members of the military personnel in the lost flight are going through a deplorable situation in pathos. With the search mission happening relentlessly, the solace can be expected through NIOT’s research vessel Sagar Nidhi that is equipped with high profiled search equipments that could sense the whereabouts of the lost flight. It will be reaching the Chennai port through Bay of Bengal from Mauritius in next one week.

Dating back to the beginning, the entire Nation was hit by turmoil, when the AN-32 plane took off on July 22, morning to Port Blair, Capital of Andaman consisting of 6 pilots and 29 military personnel. As it touched the latitude and longitudinal graph of 23K feet height at 151 Nautical miles, the flight disappeared into thin air soon after losing the communicative network and lost in Radar.

With the belief that the flight would have crashed into the Bay of Bengal, the search has been happening over the past 8 days with 4 Naval coastal hubs, 13 Navy ships and even sub-marines to see if there are any evidences that could be obtained through the debris. Although around 22 Debris seems to have been spotted, they are not coinciding with the lost flight. In accordance to the predictions that the crashed flight would have been submerged somewhere at 13,000 Ft down the Bay of Bengal, the arrival of Sagar Nidhi could get a proper and clear picture.
