Petrol price slashed by Rs.1.42/litre, diesel cut by Rs.2.01 a litre

Petrol price on Sunday slashed by Rs.1.42/litre, diesel cut by Rs.2.01 a litre. The price reduction will be effective midnight.
Rates will differ from state to state due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates. In Chennai petrol price will cost Rs.60.65 per litre & diesel will cost Rs.53.73 per litre
