No enough jobs in spite of economic growth

Infosys co-founder K Gopalakrishnan has mentioned that though there is a good economic growth, enough jobs cannot be created.
Addressing students at the IIT Kharagpur convocation, he said: After the recess of financial sector in 2008, the world is seeing increase in income disparity but India was less affected since we have an economy that is still growing strongly. But we are not seeing large number of good, well paying jobs being created. I am cautioning the upcoming engineers against the harmful side effects or uses of some of the technologies and innovations. It is imperative for scientists and engineers to study the off-putting aspects of technology fully before the technology is deployed in large scale.
