E-commerce consumers will be benefited by GST

Though there is a grudge that the retail business will be affected due to GST, it has been mentioned that the e-commerce consumers will be benefited. Some taxes like VAT vary from State to State. Once GST comes into force, this will become uniform. Hence the products through e-commerce will become cheaper. As far as India is concerned, there was a business of 1600 crore dollars in e-commerce during the last year. It is estimated that the e-commerce will go up by 10,000 Crores in the year 2020.
