New technology to store solar energy in sand

Researchers at the United Arab Emirates have invented a new technology that will aid in saving heat from sunlight in sand.
As most areas of United Arab Emirates are deserted, the government here takes several measures to store solar energy in different means so that it can later be used for other needs.
Researchers in UAE have invented a new device called SandStock to help in storing solar energy. The solar energy thus stored can later be used at night.
