S Balachandar, Chief Executive Officer, Repose said that this Coimbatore based company was started in the year 2012. He said: The Company is expanding its factory by another one lakh sq ft in addition to existing 60,000 sq ft, with an investment of Rs 7.5 crore, which will help produce 10,000 mattresses per month. The spring mattress category is about Rs 1,800 crore in the organized sector. Plans are afoot to introduce eco-friendly mattresses comprising of bamboo pulp fibre, organic bio-cotton fabric and aloe vera treated fabric. Bamboo pulp fibre has anti-bacterial properties and aloe vera treated fabric is soft and cool, ensuring comfort in all seasons. The company has also rolled out a new product called Romanto for newly-weds and a 100 per cent latex mattress.
