Second phase of medical counselling will commence after 20th September

The second phase of medical counselling to fill the remaining MBBS and BDS seats in both government and self financing colleges will begin after 20th September. As of now, there are 7 MBBS seats in government medical college and 122 MBBS seats in self financing medical colleges. Similarly there are 12 BDS seats available in Chennai Government Dental College and 970 BDS seats in self financing dental colleges are remaining to be filled.
There are 397 MBBS seats and 15 BDS avaibale under All India Quota. These seats are to be filled by NEET. The unfilled seats will be retuned back to State Government. All the seats remaining vacant during the first phase counselling and All India quota unfilled seats will be filled up during the second phase of counselling
