FORTIS MALAR CONDUCTS CARDIAC HEALTH CHECKUP

On account of World Heart Day, Fortis Malar Hospital has adopted the theme “My Heart Beats For My Family, Preserve It” in an effort to create consciousness on cardiac health. The multispecialty hospital has introduced a special Cardio health check up for Rs. 250. The discounted package includes an ECG and ECHO with a cardiologist consultation. The check up will be conducted on the hospital premises until September 30th, 2011.
In line with World Heart Day 2011 – One World, One Home, One Heart; this initiative by Fortis Malar hospital aims at creating awareness and promoting good cardiovascular health. Cardiac disease in India has been on an incline and is considered the top reason for death in the country. Understanding the severity of the situation, the hospital has taken this opportunity to assess the patient’s health while educating them on preventive measures that can help curb a majority of cardiac complications.
