Groceries will be captured and individual food items will be recognized. This eliminates the need for manual checking of what is in the fridge. Microsoft will extend computer vision capabilities for this feature.
Users can make use of an exclusive mobile app on iOS, Android and Windows. To this, the list of groceries to be shopped will get added and the users can get access while shopping.
