Vandalur Zoological Park to remain open on Bakrid

Though the state government has declared a government holiday on Tuesday (13th September), it is informed that the Vandalur Zoological Park will be open for the benefit of the public.
In a press-release by the administration of the Arignar Anna Zoological Park located in Vandalur, it is informed that the zoological park and the Children’s park in Guindy will remain open on the holiday for Bakrid on Tuesday, 13th September.
It is to be noted that every Tuesday is treated as a holiday for the zoological park for the purpose of maintenance works. However, the coming Tuesday being the occasion of Bakrid and declared as a state and central government holiday, both Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Vandalur and the Children’s Park in Guindy will remain open for the public.
