Prospects of depression zone being formed over the central-west Bay of Bengal

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of a new depression zone being formed over the central-west Bay of Bengal area.
The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Mr Balachandran, explained to the press reporters that a cyclonic effect has formed in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the central-wets Bay of Bengal region.
There are prospects a new low-pressure zone to be formed in the next 24 hours.
Hence, there are prospects of rains in a few places in Northern Tamil Nadu and 1 or 2 places in Southern Tamil Nadu in the next 2 days.There are prospects of rain in the evening or night in a few places in Chennai.
