Showers expected in the northern parts of Tamil Nadu

A low-pressure area that has formed over west-central Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh and the south Orissa coast may be far away from Tamil Nadu. S. Balachandran, director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, Regional Meteorological Centre mentioned that, it will still have some influence over the northern parts of the Tamil Nadu.
As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be murky. The meteorological department has forecast that the maximum and minimum temperature may be around 34 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius respectively till Wednesday.
