Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers Anna Medals to 126 police officers

In recognition of the Outstanding Devotion to Duty of the Police, Fire & Rescue Service, Prison Service, Home Guards and Finger Print Science personnel in the State and also to encourage them, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Medals are announced and awarded on the occasion of Dr. Anna’s Birthday on 15th September, every year.
A total of 126 personnel including 100 of those from state police department have been chosen for the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister`s Anna Medal in recognition of their outstanding devotion to duty,
The recipients of the above Medal are eligible for a lump sum grant according to the ranks as specified in the Medal rules
These medals will be presented by Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in a ceremonial parade to be held later,
