Light showers in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours

An upper air cyclonic circulation over west central Bay of Bengal will bring light showers in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for the next 24 hours. According to S. Balachandran, Director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, this will bring some showers over the northern parts of the State. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will cloudy and light showers are expected in the evenings and nights.
The meteorological department forecasts that the maximum temperature will remain at 33 degree Celsius till Thursday and rain or thundershowers are likely in some areas.
