Local body polls: Supplementary electoral rolls by September 26th

The Tamil Nadu State Election Commission has mentioned that the main electoral rolls for the local body polls have been released for all local bodies yesterday. The main electoral rolls for the individual wards in the local bodies have been prepared based on the assembly constituency electoral rolls released on 29th April.
The supplementary electoral roll based on the draft electoral rolls released by the Election Commission of India as on September 1, 2016 would be prepared by election officials before September 26th.Election officials have been instructed to have booth slips printed and kept ready by October 1.
