Ms. Hind Bahwan receives ‘Asian Business Leadership Forum Award

Ms. Hind Bahwan, Chairperson of the Chennai based Bahwan CyberTek and Director, Suhail Bahwan Group, has been conferred the prestigious ‘ABLF WOMAN OF POWER AWARD’ by the Asian Business Leadership Forum – a platform backed by a think-tank of prominent leaders, policy-makers, academicians, media and opinion leaders of core industries across Asia.
Ms. Hind Bahwan was elected for this award through an opinion pollof people; iconic business, media and other opinion commentators across India, South-East Asia and the Gulf. She received the award from Hon. Minister Shri Kapil Sibal, Union Cabinet Minister of Human Resource Development, Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India.
Bahwan Cybertek has its centre of excellence in Chennai, India and presence in the USA, Dubai, Egypt, Brunei. As Chairperson, she has steered the company to its current position and has formed joint ventures with DHL and Govt of Oman to state a few. As one of the Directors of the Multi National conglomerate the Suhail Bahwan Group, Ms. Hind plays a key role in working with the government and other leading commercial enterprises in pursuit of creating a digital society in Oman.
In her acceptance speech, Ms Hind Bahwan said “This Award is very special to me, because I have grown-up in a family that has great ties and links with India. My special thanks to the Government of India for welcoming our investments in India and providing necessary support.”
