Second phase counselling begins for MBBS, BDS admission

First phase counselling for MBBS and BDS courses were over in Tamil Nadu. Classes for the candidates who were admitted are underway. The second phase of counselling for MBBS and BDS courses began yesterday at the Tamil Nadu Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital at Omandurar Estate.
There are 18 vacant seats in government medical colleges and 16 seats in government dental colleges. Apart from this there are 715 medical seats in self financing medical colleges and 1250 dental seats in self financing dental colleges. Majority of the candidates participated in the counselling for these seats.
Counselling will conclude on 24th September. Admission is also taking place in two new private medical colleges. Indian Medical Council has approved this.
