Tirumala umbrella festival

The annual Tirupati umbrellas procession will be inaugurated on 1st October at 10.31 am at Chenna Kesava Perumal temple, located at Devaraja Mudali Street in Sowcarpet area of Chennai city.
The Tirupati Umbrella Charities has been presenting the umbrellas for the past 200 years to the Sri Venkateswaraswami Garuda Seva held during the Tirumala Brahmotsavam.
The procession will start from Chennai on 1st October and the same will be presented for the Garudaseva at Tirumala on October 6th
