Rains expected today in Tamil Nadu

The Regional Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be rains in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Thanjavur, Pudukkottai, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Tiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Kovai, Erode, Karur, Trichy, Ariyalur and Perambalur districts due to convection. There will also be rains in some parts of Puducherry. There will also be rains in one or two places of southern districts.
