Government to give appreciation certificates for Income Tax Payers

The central government has decided to issue appreciation certificates for Income Tax Payers who paid IT of Rs. 1 Lakh or more.
Within the 1st 2 weeks of implementing this plan, the central government department of Direct Taxes has issued appreciation of certificates to 80000 through e-mail.
The people with the knowledge about this inform that these appreciation certificates are being issued on the basis of Income Tax Department Priority.
As per the statistics provided by the government, around 10 Lakh persons in the country earn more than Rs. 10 Lakhs per annum. This works out to be just 2 percent of the total number of income tax payers.
