Facebook app to share, plan and organize fun events

Here comes a new mobile app from Facebook for its users to identify local happenings and hang out with friends. This is an events app designed exclusively for iPhones. This had hit the Apple’s online shop and it will soon be available on Android phones too, says Aditya Koolwal, Facebook product manager.
On the Facebook social network, Events is a stand alone spin found in a section. Here, users can share concerts, plays, poetries, or other events.
When an event is opened, users can get caught up for new events with friends who have also shown interested in the same where recent announcements about events are made.
At present, there are over 100 million users who keep visiting the Events page on Facebook. They discover activities with which they can take part with friends.
People can browse for new happenings depending on location, interest, etc and they can explore the options with the use of interactive maps. Event planning and organization can be made using calendar and they can share events on Facebook friends.
Targeting to stay in-line with modern lifestyles, Facebook has been making changes with its mobile application. It aims at quick sharing and connecting with friends and family.
There is also a separate app called Messenger and one more is WhatsApp where users can share messages.
