Ooty flooded with tourists

On the occasion of Dasara holidays tourists are visiting in large numbers on Tuesday which is being the fourth day.
During the period from Saturday to Tuesday, nearly 75,000 tourists have visited Ooty Botanical gardens. From last month, there was disruption in bus operations due to Cauvery dispute and because of this there was less inflow of tourists. Now the problems have subsided and the transportations are resumed paving way for the tourists.
Due to heavy inflow of tourists, the rooms in the hotels have been filled up.
Last Saturday 10646 tourists visited the Government Botanical gardens. Similarly on Sunday 20085 tourists visited the garden and on Monday, the botanical garden had 23392 visitors while on Tuesday, there were 19792 visitors.
