Search for Indian Air Forces AN-32 aircraft to be called off

The massive search for Indian Air Force`s AN-32 aircraft that went missing with 29 military personnel onboard didn`t yield any positive results trill day. As many as 19 Indian warships, a Russian rescue ship, submarines, an imaging satellite and special operations spy planes had been engaged in the search at its most intense. Five vessels are currently scanning the seabed off Chennai and several aircraft are engaged in a wider surface search for debris.
Searchers fear that the 27 tonne plane may have sunk to the sea bed, making any recovery almost impossible
In view of the foregoing, officials involved in the search said that the mission will be called off.
