Jayalalithaa announces Deputy Mayor candidates

The 10 candidates (councillors) who were nominated for the Deputy Mayor elections by AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa were elected for the coveted posts in all the 10 city Corporations in the State.
In Chennai, AIADMK Villivakkam block secretary and Ward 145 Councillor Benjamin was elected as the Deputy Mayor.
In Tirupur, Gunasekaran who won from 31 Ward would face Deputy Mayor election on behalf of the party, Cinnadurai, who won from 86 Ward would face the contest in Coimbatore.
In Salem, M Nadesan representing 50 Ward would contest as nominee for Deputy Mayor Post, likewise KC Palanisamy of Ward 3 would contest for Erode.
Asik Meera who won from 27 Ward would contest on party ticket to Tiruchy Deputy Mayor posts, Madurai would be represented by R Gopala Krishnan of 4 Ward, Tirunelveli by Ganesan 7 Ward Tuticorin candidate is Xavier of Ward 18.
