TN Government sets up toll free number to receive complaints

During this poojai holidays all government buses and private buses were full. private omni buses collected exorbitant rates to ply them for native places from the people who were returning from the long vacation. To curb their menace, transport officials conducted raid for the past five days.
Tamil Nadu Government has set up a toll free number to receive complaints from public over excess collection of ticket charges in omni buses in view of the forthcoming festive season. The toll free number 1800 425 6151 is functioning from the office of the Regional Transport Commissioner. Public can make their complaints through this toll free number. The complaints received will be sent to the respective offices of the regional transport officer to take further action.
