A recent study has said that eating chocolate cake for breakfast may aid in weight loss. The study said  that dark chocolate boosts focus, memory and reasoning abilities and also went on to suggest that eating chocolate cake for breakfast is advised since our metabolism is most active in the morning.

The only catch is that excess fat and sugar can still harm your prospects for weight loss and hence a low sugar dark chocolate cake is the one recommended for the best results.
