Petrol price hiked by Rs 1.34 a litre, Diesel by Rs 2.37 a litre

Petrol price was on Saturday hiked by Rs. 1.34 per litre and diesel price increased by Rs. 2.37 per litre. Revised rates will take effect from midnight.
Rates will differ from state to state due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates.
After the price revision, petrol in Chennai will now cost Rs. 65.85 per litre and diesel will cost Rs. 56.98 per litre.
