E-hundi facility started in Sabarimala for the benefit of the devotees

With the commencement of the Tamil Calendar month Karthigai, the devotees of Lord Ayyappa all over the country have started doing their penance after garlanding selves for the visit to the famous Sabarimala temple of Lord Sri Ayyappa Swamy after completing their penance.
With a view to the difficulties likely to be encountered by these devotees for hard cash change (following the recent government order demonetizing the Rs. 500/- and Rs. 1000/- currency notes), the temple administration of Sri Sabarimala Ayyappan temple has set up the e-hundi.
The Thiruvankur Dewasam Board Office Ajay Tharayil explained on this e-hundi set up that there will be no difficulties for the devotees to make their cash contribution through debit cards. The devotees can even make a contribution by even paying Rs. 1/- through the e-hundi.
The Makara Mandala Vilakku Pooja ceremonies which wll be performed for 3 months in Sabarimala temple commenced on 15th November.
It is to be noted that with the beginning of Makara Mandala Vilakku Pooja in Sri Sabarimala Ayyappan temple, the devotees from all over the country have started visiting this temple.
