After months of illness and continual treatment at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the Iron Lady, J. Jayalalithaa took her last breath on the evening of Monday.
Jayalalithaa got admitted to the hospital in September with complaints of respiratory troubles. On Sunday evening, the news about her suffering from cardiac arrest came out creating shock waves, after hours of doctors affirmation that she is fully recovered.
The announcement about her death evoked grief and sorrow to the legions of all her supporters for all of whom she is the Amma.
