Airtel announces free voice calls throughout India

Following the series of an announcement from Reliance Jio, the competitors in the mobile services sector have been facing severe competition. Jio has been offering the low-priced data services and free Jio App services. It has also been announced that Jio voice calls will be free lifelong.

In order to face this challenging situation, Jio’s competitors Airtel and Vodafone announced a few concession offers. However, these could not match Jio’s offers.In this scenario, Airtel has come up with an announcement to attract the customers. As per this, voice call and data services are available at cheaper rates.

2 offers announced by Airtel are meant only for  prepaid users.These are priced at Rs. 145/- and Rs. 345/-.

Users recharging for Rs. 145/- can avail on their 4G smartphones 300MB 4G data. They can also avail free calls on Airtel numbers to local and STD calls. For the phones with internet facility, 50 MB free data is given.The validity for this offer is 28 days.

For the customers recharging for Rs. 345/- they can avail 1 GB of 4G data and free calls on local and STD. 50 MB data is given free for the phones with internet facility. The validity for this is 28 days.

It has also been announced that this offer is valid currently only for Delhi region and the rates will vary for other regions.
