DMK leader and former Tamil Nadu CM M Karunanidhi who is aged 92 years was rushed to Kauvery hospital in Chennai on Thursday night after he complained of difficulties in breathing.
A medical bulletin issued by the hospital said the 92-year-old leader was suffering from a throat and lung infection. The hospital said his condition is stable and the treatment has begun.
He was first admitted to the same hospital on December 1 for optimization of nutrition and hydration. After undergoing the medical treatment, he improved substantially and was discharged.
