EPF interest rate reduced to 8.65%

The interest rates for EPF (Employees Provident Fund) has been reduced as compared to the previous year to 8.65 percent.
The EPF members` meeting was conducted in Bengaluru today (Monday, 19th December).
During the meeting, a decision was taken to reduce the interest ratio on EPF for the financial year 2016-17 to 8.65 percent.
It is worth noting that for the financial year 2015-16, the interest rates for EPF was 8.8 percent.
