Cashless transactions at Ration Shops from 1st March

The Central Government has announced that from 1st March there will be only cashless transactions at Ration Shops throughout the country. Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, has directed his officials to issue an advisory to the State Governments to promote cashless transactions at Ration Shops by installing card readers in POS machines.
