Mobile making giant Nokia has announced that it has discovered a new technology that will enable 40 GB data download and upload. Nokia, together with Ooredoo, an international telecommunications company at Qatar is involved in an intensive research to increase internet speed. Nokia has announced that the research made at Doha, Qatar to upload or download at 40GB speed was a success.
This achievement is possible with the help of TWDM-PON fibre technology. Four different types of wires are used for this of which each of them guarantees 10 GBPS speed.
India stands behind as a country with very slow internet connection. The average internet speed in India is reported to be 2.5 MBPS, according to research results.
