Gold rate increased Rs.48 per sovereign

The cost of gold has increased Rs.48 per sovereign on Monday evening (Jan 9, 2017).A sovereign was worth Rs.22008.00 and a gram was Rs.2751.00.
The cost of 1 gram of pure gold (24K) is now Rs.2878.00.
Price of Silver also increased. A kilo of silver was priced at Rs.40520.00 and a gram was worth Rs.43.40.
