Posted on: 20/Jan/2017 12:15:57 PM
The ban of Jallikattu has evoked an extraordinary rejoinder from youngsters across the State who came together using social media platform. Today a general bandh has been called by various associations including trade unions in public transport, autorickshaws and traders. Many colleges have been closed and traffic was sparse in the city during the peak hour of the working day.

It can be seen from the live table shown below that thousands of protestors are participating in this bandh throughout the Tamil Nadu state today (20th Jan, 2017), 5.30pm.
