Education Miniter: Government Order to regularize the unapproved schools

The state Education Minister Pandiyarajan has informed that a state government order would soon be passed to regularize all the nursery schools functioning without approval.

The education Minister Pandiyarajan and the Rural Development Minister S. P. Velumani were in Coimbatore to inspect and analyze the conditions of the Nehru stadium. Then, they toured the site where the new playground is to be set up and checked the conditions.

Minister Pandiyarajan had a session with the press reporters and informed that a new international quality sports stadium is set to built in an area of 5.63 acres located near the Coimbatore Central Jail area at a cost of Rs. 3.85 Crores. The activities are expected to be completed by 6 months.

The stadium will have a swimming pool and also the hostel for the sportspersons. As the Nehru Stadium does not have sufficient space, it was not possible to provide all the facilities for the sportspersons. However, these facilities would be provided in the newly constructed stadium.

He also informed that an international quality Museum reflecting the Kovai culture is also proposed to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2 Crores.

When the reporters enquired about the status of unapproved nursery schools in the state, the minister informed that a government order will soon be released in order to regularize the functioning of unapproved nursery schools.

After the reporter session, the minister went to inspect the government museum near the Nehru Stadium.
