Shawna Pandya is the third Indian woman to travel to the space, according to NASA’s latest report.
The list of members who are set to travel to the space in 2018 is announced recently. This list of names includes Shawna Pandya from India too. Shavna holds the pride of being the third Indian woman to travel to the space. Kalpana Chawla and Sunitha Williams were the first two and Shawna is their successor. Only those who are well trained in space research and those deeply interested in the same will be eligible to travel in space shuttle. Contrarily, Shawna is a neurologist. Hence, she is undergoing a special training program with the NASA now.
