Governor appoints Edappadi K Palaniswami as chief minister

Tamil Nadu Governor Vidyasagar Rao has invited Edappadi K Palalnisami to form the government. The Governor has given 15 days time to K Palalnisami to prove his majority. Palanisamy is likely to be sworn-in as chief minister at 4.30 pm today. The would be Chief Minister who has to seek the vote of confidence in the house says that he is being backed with 124 AIADMK MLAs.
Raj Bhavan press release said. "letter of submitted by Palaniswami on Tuesday that he was elected as the leader of the AIADMK legislature party at a meeting of the party MLAs held on that day,".
