An announcement has been released for filling up the 322 vacant posts of engineers and accountants Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board (MWSSB).
Applications are invited from the eligible and interested candidates.
Post: Deputy Controller of Finance
Vacancies: 06
Monthly Salary: Rs. 1500/- - Rs. 39100/-
Post: Senior Accounts Officer
Vacancies: 03
Monthly Salary: Rs. 1500/- - Rs. 39100/-
Academic Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed CA Course (Chartered Accountancy). They should have 5 years and 2 years experience for the above 2 posts.
Post: Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical)
Vacancies: 13
Monthly Salary: Rs. 9,300/- Rs. 34,800/-
Academic qualifications:
Candidates must have passed B. E. or B. Tech Course in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Post: Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
Vacancies: 45
Monthly Salary: Rs..9,300/- - Rs. 34,800/-
Academic qualifications:
Candidates must be graduates ( B. E. or B. Tech.) in Electrical. Electronics, or Electronic communications.
Post: Junior Assistant

Monthly Salary: Rs. 5,200/- - Rs. 20,200/-
Academic qualifications:
Candidates must be graduates in any faculty. They must have completed a Diploma course in Computers.
Age limit:
For all the above posts, candidates must be in the age group 18-30.
The place for the written test: Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, and Salem.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in the written test, interview and the marks obtained in their academic qualifications.
Application Fee:
For open community cadre and OBC: Rs. 500. For all other categories: Rs. 250/-.
This fee must be paid as Demand Draft in the name of CMWSSB transferable in Chennai.
