Sabarimala Ayyappa temple in Kerala is one of the famous temples in the world. The state government has requested the central government to declare this temple as national shrine. As a part of this, the central government has given approval for an airport near Sabarimala. Moreover various developments tasks are going on now.
The golden temple mast at Sabarimala temple was damaged. This was found during the Deva Prasannam Pooja. Now this temple mast has been dismantled and a work connected with the new temple mast has begun.
The wood for the new temple mast has been identified and has been cut from the forests in Pathanamthitta. Now this mast is immersed in medicated oil.
Yesterday, the works connected with the dismantling the old temple mast began. The dismantling began after Tantri Kandararu Rajeevararu performed special rituals. After this the foundation for the new temple mast was laid.
The new temple mast will be installed on 7th April at 10.45 am. This mast will also be gold plated.
