Mini buses in the Masi veethis of Meenakshi Amman Temple

For the convenience of the devotees in Madurai, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation will be operating mini buses in the Masi veethi’s of Meenakshi Amman Temple. The ticket is priced at Rs 10.
Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple is one of the famous destinations in southern districts. Thousands of devotees throng this temple. Devotees come from other states as well as foreign countries. Devotees will increase during the time of festivals.
After Chennai, this is the first mini bus to be operated in a southern district. Officials say that this mini bus will be operated in a day or two. Initially 4 buses will be operated and the number will be increased based on the demand. The bus will stop in more than 10 places. Devotees and people can travel to the temple from any of these stops.
