Facebook has made a new update on its platform allowing people to update their Profile Frames. There are nearly 200 national flags which can be pinned to profile window corner.
Earlier, profile frames were introduced for users to show their interest towards their favorite sports team. Later, users were allowed to share their own frames. Now, it is possible to mark one’s own country in it.
However, this is looked upon as a conflict with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Facebook is intending to create one’s very own identity. In a 6000 worded manifesto, Zuckerberg has acknowledged that Facebook stands responsible towards the world, the platform being strong enough with 1.6 billion and plus users. In this, he had mentioned about bringing together the people of different communities with a common interest.
The fractured and isolated community that makes the entire platform should be made more of a cooperative global community, aims Zuckerberg.
