Maruti Suzuki Announcement: Ritz Sales Stopped

The leading public sector car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has announced that it has stopped the sales of the small car model Ritz. The sales are stopped both in the local and export markets.
The small car model Ritz was introduced in 2009. It is available as both petrol and diesel models. So far, 4 lakh vehicles have been sold.
The Public Relations Official explained that the company is making continuous improvement in features and design on models. Ritz played a predominant role in the sector of small cars. In order to introduce new models, the production of Ritz is stopped. However, the spare parts of Ritz will be available for the next 10 years.
Recently, Maruti Suzuki has stopped sales of the premier range model S-Cross. The company had explained that the reason for the stoppage was less demand for the model.
