Major reshuffle of IAS officers in Tamil Nadu

17 IAS officers have been transferred in Tamil Nadu. New collectors have been appointed for Chennai and Kanchipuram districts.

- Aavin Managing Director Sunil Paliwal has been transferred to be the Chief Secretary of the Department of Higher Education.
- The Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Cements C. Kamaraj is transferred to be the Managing Director of Aavin.
- The Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Salt Corporation D. Udayachandran is transferred be the Secretary of the Department of School Education.
- Tamil Nadu Minerals Corporation head M. Vallalar is transferred to be the Director of the Minorities Welfare Department.
- The Chief Secretary of the Department of Minorities Welfare Dayanand Kataria is transferred to be the Chief Secretary of the Department of Transport.
- The Chief Secretary of the Department of Industries Vikram Kapur is transferred as the Chief Secretary of the Department of Energy.
- The Chief Secretary of the Department of the Environment and Forestry Atulya Misra is transferred as the Chief Secretary of the Department of Industries.
- The Special Secretary of the Department of Public and reestablishment V. Palanikumar is transferred as the Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation.
