Budget session in assembly to begin on 16th March

The Speaker of Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu, Mr. P. Dhanapal announced that the assembly’s budget session will take place between 16th and 23rd of March this year. In a press release in this regard, it is stated that budget will be filed at 10.30 am on 16th March and budget voting take place until 23rd of March.
This is notably the very first budget session after Edappadi K. Palanisamy has become the Chief Minister of the state, Jayakumar as the new Finance Minister.
